Noa is a whimsical illustration and surface pattern studio creating little worlds through art. Rooted in feeling and guided by intuition, Noa brings playfulness, story, and quiet joy to the everyday. Surface patterns and illustrations are available for licensing across fashion, homewares, and lifestyle products. Noa also welcomes thoughtful collaborations with brands seeking artful, whimsical design with feeling at its core.
Surface Pattern as Litte Worlds
Surface patterns that feel like little worlds. Imagined places you can step into. Built from fine-line drawings and translated into digital vector form, these patterns are designed for licensing across fashion, homewares, giftware and beyond.
Art, Illustration & Whimsy
At its heart, Noa is also an artist’s practice. Sometimes that looks like illustration, sometimes painting, sometimes something in between. What connects it all is the whimsy. The glimmer added to the ordinary. Artworks that feel familiar yet imagined. Scenes that hold softness, curiosity, and a sense of story. Whether digital or acrylic, flat or textured, the work isn’t boxed by medium, it’s guided by intuition, mood, and the desire to make spaces feel warmer, lighter, and more joyful.
Movement, Feeling & Space
Noa is about movement out of rest, not hustle, not noise, but quiet momentum. Art led by feeling rather than force. Through patterns, murals, and original works, Noa brings story into everyday life, from walls and interiors to garments, objects, and the pieces we live with daily. Each design is made to carry emotion: playful, calming, nostalgic, or uplifting.
Meet Sarah - The Creative Behind Noa
Artist. Detail-lover. Slow Creative.
Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m an artist and designer, and the person behind Noa. I’ve always been drawn to slow creativity, small details, and the quiet magic in everyday life. Noa grew naturally from that way of working, evolving over time into a space for whimsical, story-led work that can live across products, spaces, and the things we use each day.
My creative journey began with an upbringing immersed in making, followed by a Fine Arts degree with a major in Fashion. I studied during a period of transition, when the industry was shifting from hand sketches to digital tools, and found myself instinctively drawn to the graphic side of the process. Translating fine-line drawings and illustrations into clean, intentional designs sparked a lasting fascination with how art can move between mediums, scales, and uses.
These days, surface pattern sits at the heart of my work, not limited to fashion but open to clothing, homewares, giftware, wallpaper, and beyond. Alongside this, I create original artworks and illustrations, often guided by whimsy and a desire to add small glimmers to the ordinary.
I’m based in Toowoomba, a regional city tucked between the farm I grew up on and the coastal life I once knew. My days are a gentle balance of drawing and designing, school runs and small hands, gym sessions, laundry, and the quiet joy that arrives when the house finally stills.
Thank you for being here. I’m so glad you are.
